Also, it would be nice if watchers could view the ticket (if they have a valid account).

With my company there are only 2 agents working and we like to keep up to date on each other's tickets just in case we can jump in a help out. As such we setup a rule to add us both as watchers on a new ticket, however that has resulted in extra e-mail notifications.
I'd like the ability to turn on/off certain watcher notification e-mails and edit the templates.

at the very minimum a link to the ticket should be in the body of the 'you've been added as a watcher' notification. Sometimes I wonder if you use your own product.

Hi - wondering why still after so many years one can't modify the settings for being added as a watcher. I'd like to modify the template - and like the above it's very annoying to get "note added" "new activity" for every item at the same exact time.

Apologies for the delay in response.
We currently do not have the option to edit and customize the watcher email notifications sent out to the agents. But, we will try and open this notification for customization in future. Sorry about the limitation here.
