Currently the searching function in customer portal is very limited, searching from all over the portal. Our number of solution articles in increasing and it is getting more and more difficult to locate the correct article. Advanced search is urgently in need to enhance the usability of our customer portal.
Such as search by country, search by category etc.
We are currently in the process of revamping the entire search function to improve the overall searchability both at the agent-side and customer portal side. Once after the improvement, we will be working on adding related filters to narrow down the search results. We will make sure to keep you all updated about the progress once we move forward with the feature development.

7 Months - any progress on this - the Agent side looks great. But I am trying to make my customers happy. When can we expect the customer portal view to be as flexible. Thanks

Glad to know that you are happy about search in the agent side but we are still working on improving the entire search functionality. As you might know, search is a unified feature that works across other channels like Knowledge Base, Forums, Tickets, Customers, so we are analysing it in detail and working on the improving it constantly. However, we also have plans to bring in advanced search in the future along with additional search capabilities in the customer portal side. Kindly bear with us until then and we will make sure to keep you posted about the progress.
