Well, this is a lazy and old business model where it is clear that the developers are always one step behind:
"We haven't seen this request come up from a lot of customers so far - we'll keep an eye on this forum and add this request to our backlog if it gathers more interest."
So it is a company that will never inovate... And will be always behind (or blind to) the competitors?

I cant believe that this isn't a standard feature? If Freshdesk are promoting smother importing of data from other platforms such as Pipedrive & Xero, they have to have the ability to manage the data after it is imported. Pipedrive like many other apps have separate CSV files for company and clients. When consolidating client CRMs from multiple apps this is a must feature and does not make sense only having it for contacts only. This is very disappointing, Freshdesk. One way around this is to import the dirty data back into Pipedrive that does have this merge capability, clean up the data and then import it back in to a clean Freshdesk. Not ideal but a band aid solution, none the less. Do we get a discount on this months subscription for doing this??!!!!!

We need this merge company capability as well. The duplicate finder in FreshSales is brilliant - any thought about putting that into FreshDesk? I know you are different teams but great to share best practices.
