Sorry about that Adam! We're working on a revamp of the app and tags are planned to be rolled along with that version.
2 years later and we still don't have proper tags in the mobile app... It's a real shame :/

We're working on the app redesign and the version will be in sync with the MINT interface of Freshdesk. It has a lot more to offer and definitely includes the ability to add tags to ticket. We're planning to get the BETA version ready by end of May,2018. Please drop in a note here if you're interested to subscribe for the BETA!

I require myself and my team to add tags to each ticket for ongoing analytics. Tags are actually one of my top 5 favorite features of Freshdesk.
I would love to have the option to view and edit those tags in the mobile app, even if I had to click the edit button and have another field on that screen.
