Please fix it. or provide an plain text/mark down mode if you can't handle rich text (which is not easy, so don't assign a newbie to attempt to fix it)

Yep, unbelievably this is still ongoing. This issue has been around for years and every time Freshdesk are made aware they go silent or mark it as a resolved issue. Just give us a standard text editor, I don't know what is so difficult.
