In the feedback widget, you can choose to allow users to attach screenshots, take screenshots, or search through your knowledge base through the feedback widget.
It is possible to control the option of taking a screenshot by adding it to the query params of the widget code. But then due to security reasons, we will be removing the screenshot option enabled via scripts.
Embedded widget :
If you are using an embedded feedback widget and enabled the screenshot option via a script, then the screenshot access for your customers will be revoked.
In the UI, under Admin>Helpdesk, you can find an option to turn ON/OFF the screenshot taking access for customers.
Pop-up widget :
If you are using a pop-up widget and enabled the screenshot option via a script, then the screenshot access for your customers will be revoked.
There will not be an option to enable screenshot access via UI.
We recommend you switch to the Help widget it is more secure and also has a bunch of other cool features you can make use of.
