Freshdesk can automatically redact credit card numbers, with the new redaction feature.
If a customer sends in credit card information in a ticket, Freshdesk automatically redacts it from the source itself (the information doesn't flow to downstream services). Credit card numbers are masked except for the last 4 digits.
This will work for all notes added by contacts. Admins can enable this automatic redaction by clicking on Admin>Security>Turn on ‘Redaction’.
