Prepopulate ticket field with external unique id from portal sent from SSO

I have a question regarding prepopulating the ticket field
I already have set up an external portal and freshdesk customer portal with SSO.
I want to prepopulate one of the fields with an external unique ID.
If I included the external unique ID sent over with SSO, how should I access the user data from the customer portal? is there a placeholder available? I read through the documentation but I could not find the solution.
