Ability to export Knowledge Base (Solutions) Documents as a PDF

I think the ability for a client to export (into a PDF) information (/articles) contained in the 'Solutions' section woud be a great feature.
Allow a user to create a downloadable PDF of content contained within the 'Solutions' section of Freshdesk.
Users clicks on Create PDF button
The user can select which sections of the Knowledge Base they would like to have included in the PDF.
The selection process can mirror the 3 level hierarchy already established in the platform.
The PDF is downloaded directly to the users computer or an email is sent to the user containing the PDF.
A great example of a company that has this type of feature is HelpIQ (link)
A good example of why this feature would be useful is if a client only needs to access (/learn) about certain parts of the platform. They could create a PDF that contains only the information they need to review. Several of our larger clients like having the ability to export as a PDF because they prefer print versions of the Knowledge base documentation.
We ship our products to our customers who do not have public internet access. There is no way we can print from the XML export. Selectively Printing a single PDF of our Solutions is the best way we can share our documentation with our customers.
Branding, as someone pointed out, is also important for our business. The current' "print" button is useless because there is a better and faster way to do print the current page using CTRL+P (on PC) & CMD+P (on Mac).
It is interesting that the 6-year old request (with 34 likes) is still pending on Freshdesk's Product Management team. All the solutions provided thus-far are not sufficient.
Freshdesk PM Team: Is there anything we (customers/users) can do to help you prioritize this feature request over some other things you may have on your plate?

I totally agree with what Benny has mentioned
on this thread of having a way to cleanly export an article to PDF with all the
branding. And I think other people have mentioned it on this thread that there
needs to be an option to be able to download the whole helpcentre into PDFs for
We are a BPO working on behalf of a number of
different clients that aren’t the most digital-minded people and we need the
ability to send them a readable document with all the articles for them to be
able to print off and take into meetings if they have to.
I’ve looked through a number of threads about a
number of different topics and I keep seeing the same trend – a relatively
simple requirement that’s been raised a number of years ago with little
communication about development or any real attempt to understand the
requirement fully that seems to be just left in limbo which clients of
Freshdesk need more immediately! Sort it out Freshdesk!!

We would like to use this feature for simply emailing our customers knowledge articles without having them in our system or simply because they're offline mostly.
I don't understand why this feature is not implemented yet since a technical implementation of this feature is quite easy..

Yes, definitely need this. Being able to "print to PDF" helps a little, but it's not a very satisfying workaround. The resulting PDF looks like a screen print from a browser, not at all a professional document we'll want to distribute. A few simple "Export to PDF" and "Export to Word doc" buttons would be really helpful.
The use case, as others have mentioned, is very straightforward: We often need to be able to send KB articles to customers or prospects who are not registered as users of our support portal. Additionally, since our products are frequently deployed in secure locations without internet access, we need to be able to send individual articles with instructions to our customers, in a format that can be viewed offline and shared with others.
There should be some way for us to send a KB article to someone who doesn't have a Support Portal account at all.

+1 for this functionality. In some cases our customers need a hard copy of an article in a binder - like safety info about our products, or other documentation that need to be on hand by demand of regulations. Today we author these articles in another tool, export to PDF and add them to a placeholder article which is basically empty. This looks silly, and is a bit cumbersome. We wish to author them in Freshdesk, and simply export them to PDF directly. This would simplify our workflow a lot, and also make the info more available for our customers. Most likely the need for PDF export will be less in the future, but right now its a must have. Having export would simplify the transition to a paperless, digital workday.
