This would make tracking events in my repair station a bit more easier and accessible. Can this be done with some workaround?
Definitely need the ability to automate email messages based on a variable date parameter. I.e = field " travel date" - 14 to automate messages 14 days prior to travel. A bit specific i know but the requirement originally requested would do the trick. Thanks
The ability to set a date field to "today" would make scenario automation much more flexible. Any plans on implementing this?
There seem to be several requirements all merged together. The original request was to see when a ticket was resolved. For that we use the Excel download which shows a number of dates / times, including when a ticket was resolved.
The other requests seem to be about automation:
I second this motion, having an option to set a date criteria based on "today" is very useful
Currently I can only use finite hard-coded dates as criteria (e.g. before date ,after date etc)
The idea is to be able to set a criteria such as some_date <= today

I would like to keep track of the date a ticket was solved. So I added a custom field 'resolution date' to the ticket. Fine.
I also added an Observer automation that, when the status is set to Solved, updates the custom field.
But… here I can define only a constant date (using a calendar widget). I'd like to be able to set the date of today. Any way to do this?
