We have multiple business units using FreshDesk and they require different custom fields. It would be great to have the ability to create different layout pages and assign them to specific groups.
This functionality is available in a lot of other tools such as Desk.com and Salesforce.
I am sure this would be useful for lots of customers using FreshDesk.
Apologies for the delay in response. Please check out our Multiple Products feature that will allow you to assign a group to a particular product and this specific product will have a separate portal that can be customized.
Also, you can use the Required Fields Based on option app from our marketplace
(https://www.freshworks.com/apps/freshdesk/required_fields_based_on_the_option/ ) and the Hide/Disable Ticket fields app ( https://www.freshworks.com/apps/freshdesk/hidedisable_ticket_fields/ ) to control the visibility and requirement of specific fields in a ticket based on your set of condtions such as product/group.
