Freshdesk ticket replies and New email not sending emails

We've been trying for hours now to get the ticket replies to work, it doesn't seem to send the email replies, nor the "New email".
The "Ticket assigned" mails funny enough does work though, it's only responses to tickets and when trying to send a mail via "New Mail" that it's not sending anything, and it's also not giving any errors.
