Integrate your Shopify store and your Freshdesk account to bring in order information of your customers in Shopify to your support helpdesk. This will give you more context while dealing with support tickets raised by customers regarding their purchases. For example, if a customer has raised a ticket about a recent order, you can see their current and past orders, the status of these orders, issue a refund or also cancel the order, if required, within the Shopify widget inside Freshdesk.


Quick guide to installing the Shopify app for Freshdesk

  • Login to your support portal as an Administrator.
  • Click on Admin > Helpdesk Productivity > Apps > Get More Apps.
  • Select Shopify and click on Install.
  • Enter your store name in Shopify. For example, if your store URL is sauls.myshopify.com, your store name is sauls. 



  • Click Update to install the app.


If you have more than one Shopify store, you can connect them all to your Freshdesk account. Click on the 'Connect another store' button and enter the store name as done previously and click Connect. All the Shopify stores you have connected to your Freshdesk account will show up. You can choose to disconnect a store at any point by clicking on the 'Disconnect' button.



After you integrate Shopify, a quick view of the shipping, billing information, status of the order, and an option to view the list of past orders of that contact will be available in the Shopify widget in both the contact page and ticket page inside Freshdesk. Use the 'Refund order' and 'Cancel order' buttons to perform refund and cancel actions against orders from inside the widget. Clicking on 'More details in Shopify' in the widget will directly take you to the orders page in your Shopify account.

  • Click Save to install the app.
After you integrate Shopify, you can see order information of customers who raised tickets in the contact page and tickets page view in Freshdesk.

You will be able to go to the orders page in your Shopify directly from your support. You can also view the shipping and billing information and the status of the order in the widget.
