You can now cancel and refund BigCommerce orders directly from Freshdesk. By integrating Freshdesk with BigCommerce, support agents can view, cancel, and refund orders without switching platforms, simplifying customer service and improving response times.
How to integrate Freshdesk with BigCommerce?
To integrate Freshdesk with BigCommerce,
Login to your support portal.
On the top-right corner, click the Freshworks Marketplace icon and then click Marketplace Apps.
Alternatively, you can go to Admin > Apps to land on the same page.
Search for BigCommerce in the Apps page that appears. On the BigCommerce app page that appears, click Install.
Under Connect your BigCommerce account, provide the following information:
Store URL
Store Name
API Path
Client ID
Access Token
Click Authenticate account.
Once the account is linked, click Install to complete the integration.
Cancel BigCommerce order from Freshdesk
After successfully integrating Freshdesk and BigCommerce, you can view all customer orders in the BigCommerce widget in Freshdesk.
Click the order that you want to cancel. You will see all the details for this order, including the total cost. Click Cancel this order to initiate cancellation.
Choose the reason for cancellation from the list of options, and click Cancel order.
In the pop-up that appears, click Proceed.
A confirmation message will appear along with the canceled status next to the order.
Refund BigCommerce order from Freshdesk
After successfully integrating Freshdesk and BigCommerce, you can view all customer orders in the BigCommerce widget in Freshdesk.
Click the order for which you want to initiate a refund. You will see all the details for this order, including the total cost. Click Refund this order to initiate the refund process.
Click the order that you would like to refund. You will see all the details for this order, including the total cost. Click Refund order.
In the pop-up that appears, click Proceed.
A confirmation message will appear along with the refund status next to the order.
