Freshdesk helps you navigate your way around your helpdesk easily by using keyboard shortcuts. These shortcuts can be used to perform repetitive tasks quickly, and manage the properties of tickets on the fly. For example, you can move between tickets, assign a ticket to yourself or delete tickets in your helpdesk by using key combinations inside Freshdesk. You can use these shortcuts with a Standard 101/102-Key or Natural PS/2 Keyboard.

 

To pull up the list of keyboard shortcuts that are available, just type ? on your keyboard at any point.


Note: You can enable/disable keyboard shortcuts in your portal by clicking on the agent profile picture icon on the top right corner of your helpdesk and using the toggle for Keyboard Shortcuts.


Shortcuts to navigate within the application

Shortcuts to use within the Tickets tab (Tickets List View page)

 

These shortcuts can be used when you are on the Tickets tab. Please note that the navigation between tickets will happen based on the position of the cursor in your tickets tab. The current position of the cursor is indicated as shown below.
