Why would I need to set up Multiple Products in Freshdesk?

We will be replacing the older version of Freshdesk with the new Mint experience on January 31, 2019. All your data and configurations will remain intact. Switching back to the old Freshdesk will not be possible.

Multiple products let you set up separate support portals for each of your products, giving each of them a separate platform and a unique URL.
Also, you'll gain the ability to restrict solution and forum categories specific to products without additional account charges. When you have different services or products for which you need independent support portals, they all could be integrated within the same account using this feature.
