Is it possible to reassign a support email address from the main portal to one of the products?

We will be replacing the older version of Freshdesk with the new Mint experience on January 31, 2019. All your data and configurations will remain intact. Switching back to the old Freshdesk will not be possible.

Yes, please navigate to Admin -> Support channels -> Email. Here, you could see the list of support email addresses which could be associated with the products added in Admin -> General Settings -> Multiple products.
Kindly click on edit next to the support address and choose the product under "Link this support email with a product." Note that this product should already be added in the helpdesk.
