Note: The Dew interface described in this article will be available starting December 1, 2025. The information below is for early reference and preparation.
The Dew user interface (UI) introduces a refreshed and unified visual experience in Freshdesk. This new design brings modern aesthetics, improved usability, and consistency to the Freshworks ecosystem. The switch to the new design interface is seamless and does not affect any new features.
Introducing DEW
Dew is Freshworks’ unified design system. It redefines how users interact with Freshworks products by offering:
- A modern and consistent look across all products.
- A personalized experience with dark and light themes.
- A simplified interface designed to improve productivity and focus by reducing visual clutter and making key actions easier to find.
- Accessibility-focused enhancements that make experiences more inclusive through improved color contrast.
Note: Dew is solely a UI enhancement, not a feature. Activating the new interface in your product will not affect any existing features.
Transitioning to the Dew Interface
To enable the new interface in Freshdesk:
- Click Admin Settings > HelpDesk Settings > Edit Branding > Freshworks DEW
- Under "Choose a theme," you can select from existing themes, such as Tropical Mint or Crimson Pulse, or click "Pick a custom color" to select a custom color that matches your brand.
- Click Save
The new interface will be enabled for all agents.

Note: 1) If you sign up on or after December 1, 2025, the DEW reskinned UI will automatically be enabled. 2) If you are an existing customer, you will see an in-product banner indicating that the Classic UI will be deprecated on March 31, 2026. You can use the UI switcher to explore Dew safely before the switch is mandatory.

Note: The new interface is not available for other Freshworks products, including Freshsales, Freshmarketer, Freshcaller, Freshdesk Omni, Freschat, or Omnichannel.
